FER Fitness GmbH was founded in Munich in 2014 by a group of platform engineers who were tired of watching well-funded systems fail for structural reasons. Today we are a distributed team of specialists in software engineering, cloud architecture, security and operations.

What began as a three-person consultancy rebuilding a failing payments backend now operates platforms across six industries and four cloud regions.

Signed artefacts, SBOM generation and pinned dependencies for every release we deliver.
Data minimisation
We collect the least data required, retain it for the shortest defensible period and encrypt it in transit and at rest.
Accessibility
Interfaces are built and tested against WCAG 2.2 AA as a delivery requirement.
Sustainability
Workload placement and scheduling account for energy intensity as well as cost and latency.
